I think that Chief Illiniwek is a great tradition and is not an inslut, but a tribute to Illini people. Did you know that Fighting Illini actually refers to the people of Illinois who fought in World War I? Hello, that's why it's called MEMORIAL Stadium. I mean seriously, it's not like us Illini fans are doing a stupid little chop and moaning like idiots, at halftime there isn't even a hint of Indian music.
